hello chef, just 2 questions – did you just use one clove of garlic, is that enough? also – what is the difference with cooking the pasta in pan as opposed to placing it in boiling water first, before transferring to the pan with sauce?

That's just the way I prep my tomato basil chili pasta. But, I boil the pasta in the traditional way, separately, and discard the cooked pasta water which is loaded with starch. No way I'm gonna eat all that starch 😅

This pasta dish looks delicious. I love how Kenji always sits patiently at the doorway of the Kitchen. Border Collies are the best breed in my heart. My BC would always get excited the moment she heard an egg getting cracked. She would start to wag happily, hoping to get some raw whisked egg for her coat.

OMG…that is delicious 😋 I could not find my anchovy paste so i added a little bit of fish sauce…but everything is exactly the same as you and it was very very good. It’s creamy…just the kind of meal that i really love. Thank you for sharing 😊
