Hello r/FoodLosAngeles!

First, THANK YOU all so much! It has been wonderful meeting a good number of you over these past weeks! Your support has meant a lot and many of you have taught me how to serve you all better, which I appreciate. These sandwiches are my own thing, my own recipe, not that it is without inspiration, but being its own thing, I don't have advice on "this is the best way to do this" and have to discover a lot of it myself and with your help. Learning how to properly do the cheese I only learned last week! I am always fine-tuning my shaping the bread and still perfecting the recipe. I am always tweaking things to make the food better however I can and preferably, keep the price the same. I am introducing a beef stock dipping sauce this week (and price is not only unaffected, but I am slightly reducing the price, sorta).

The food:

So the LA Cheesesteaks, smoked beef short rib, onions, bell peppers, garlic and cheddar cheese on handmade rolls, with a handmade beef stock dipping sauce for $10, or 2 for $18. I have chips and soda for $1 each.

For dessert, a very good chef buddy of mine who has worked as my sous on several private jobs and TOTALLY saved my butt a number of times with his work ethic and just sheer talent, is making caramelized double chocolate chunk cookies with Madagascar vanilla extract for $3 and decadent soft and Denise (I think he meant dense, and you should totally mention his Denise brownies) with chunks of chocolate, brownies for $4.

Location:

On Sunday the 31st, we will bet at my usual location on Hollywood Blvd and N Berendo across from Barnsdall Art Park from 12 to 7 (or until we sell out, cause I haven't made it all the way to 7 in almost a month!)

On Monday, Labor Day, we will be on Venice beach, I am not certain exactly where we will be able to find space. but it should be around the skate park in front of the canals. Follow me on Instagram and I will post once we are set up and where. I will also post a comment here.
