The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama is hosting its annual Partner Engagement Conference, bringing together food distribution partners, volunteers and hunger-relief leaders to strengthen efforts against hunger in central Alabama.
The event, held at the Trussville Conference Center, aims to inspire and connect food pantry coordinators, nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups and community advocates.
“This gathering is more than a conference — it’s a celebration of our shared commitment to ending hunger and nourishing communities,” said Nicole Williams, CEO of the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. A
ttendees will participate in workshops, hear from local experts on food insecurity, and discuss innovative ways to expand access to healthy food. The conference focuses on capacity building, community engagement, volunteer development and effective collaboration.
