2018 is a vintage with great purity and elegance. The aromatic bouquet opens with notes of rose petals, dried violets, ripe red cherry jam, orange zest and followed by nuances of dried porcini mushroom, cedar, and herbs. To the palate it’s exceptionally harmonious and precise showing beautifully integrated and round tannins, nice acidity and a vibrant core of red fruit and savory miner. The perfect use of the oak casks comes out during the taste with great elegance and without covering the aromatic bouquet of the Nebbiolo grape variety, with notes of vanilla, toasted coffee beans and a final delicate Smokey note.
