Hello, this is Melissa from Buckeye Girls Lifesty Style. This is Stocktober where we’re preparing to stock our pantry for the winter. Okay, we have we got strawberries for 99 for a pound. Some of them wasn’t the best. We got rid of those and I had about a pound in the freezer. So, we’re going to make some strawberry pie filling and can that up. It’ll get the strawberries was in my freezer out, which is a plus. And uh we’ll have it already made up cuz I do want to do a strawberry dessert for Thanksgiving this year. Mrs. Wags pie filling for berries. And it’s and it’s blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries. But I’ve also used this in strawberries. I’ve even used it. I’ve even used her her pie filling mix for uh apples, and it’s really, really good. I thought I’d use this for my strawberries cuz it shows it says berries. Use one pack of this. Three cups of water. And let’s see how much sugar. Three cups of sugar. One. two and three. And let’s see what it says. It says combine sugar Cook on medium heat until thick. We can do that. I want to get this stirred in real good. We’ll just cook this until it gets thick. We want to make sure the frozen ones are thawled out. Let’s see what the processing time. It says process in pints or quarts. I’m doing quarts. Quartz for 20 minutes in a in a ba water bath. Okay. Here’s our jar. We have our debubbler and our jar filler. I’m going to just fill this with our strawberry filling. This will turn into either a strawberry pie or strawberry pretzel salad or something yummy. Then we’ll wipe the tops. Add a lid and a ring finger tight. And we’ll do that until that is empty. Okay, we filled our our caner to above the jars. We are going to when this get starts boiling, we’re going to boil for 20 minutes. Here is our beautiful strawberries ready for to make dessert.
