This is an Emery Thompson machine, 3 years old. Do these marks inside look like a problem?

I have bought two used ET’s. No problems at all for me.
I don’t think those streaks are a problem, you could always ask the seller to video that part and wipe it down. It could just need a little cleaning and maybe the light is reflecting weirdly.

No, but I think the blades are in backwards and they need to be sharpened.

Emerys are tanks. Those marks are normal

Can you replace the cylinder? (I have no advice, just curious)

That level of streaking is fine. That’s just normal wear and tear on the dashers.
Get concerned when the metal shows dug in scrapes.

Looks like normal wear and tear to me. I would replace the blades and any other “small” part, something that should be done regularly anyways.
