Công thức (Tiếng Anh):

Yields: 2 Sandwiches

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 8-10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 can (5 oz / 142g) tuna in water or oil, drained well

1/4 cup (60g) mayonnaise

1/4 cup finely chopped celery

2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion

1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish (optional)

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and black pepper to taste

4 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, rye, or whole wheat)

4 slices of cheddar or Swiss cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Instructions:

Make Tuna Salad: In a medium bowl, flake the drained tuna with a fork. Add the mayonnaise, celery, red onion, relish (if using), and Dijon mustard. Mix until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Prep for Grilling: Spread butter on one side of each of the four slices of bread.

Assemble: Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Layer: Place one slice of cheese on each piece of bread in the skillet. Divide the tuna salad mixture evenly and spread it over the cheese. Top each with another slice of cheese.

Grill: Place the remaining two slices of bread on top, butter-side up. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until the bread is golden brown and toasted, and the cheese is completely melted.

Serve: Slice the tuna melts in half and serve warm.

Tuna melt says creamy, melty, delicious.
