I mean 10g of protein for only 50 calories and a delicious creamy yogurt is already insane but I was wondering if anyone had found a better option as it’s quite expensive and I need to budget! 🙂

Fage is not 50 cal per serving it’s 90 cal/ 3/4 cup.
You can also have too good yogurt in flavors they are often on sale and Oikos zero are excellent and they often have promotions on that in flavors.

i always use this yogurt as sour cream for my hot foods lol

Dodoni Greek yoghurt 0% is much tastier in my opinion. 47 kcal and 9 grams protein per 100 grams.

If you live in the UK, you should try the Aldi one, 500g for £1.99, it’s not as thick, but it’s the best substitute I’ve found so far 🙂

So far I’ve had no luck with other brands. They don’t taste as good… As someone who prefers my yogurt unflavored and unsweetened, it hurts my wallet.

Sorry but no. lol I mix vanilla protein powder with my yogurt for breakfast bowls (because I HATE the flavor of yogurt…even the flavored yogurt is too much tang for me) and it’s the only yogurt that the protein powder totally masks the yogurt tang.

The 5% is awesome

Olympic Organic 0% Greek is the GOAT, 90 cal per 175g

These are what I buy. 70 cal and 9g protein for the whole 170g container. And they’re half the price. I don’t really like Greek yogurt and could never eat unflavored, so I feel like this is the best option for me.
Nope. I go through ~8 tubs a week lol, I mix the 0% with sugar free pudding mix for snacking and the 2% goes in the morning smoothies for me and the hubs.

I use the 5% because I share breakfast with my toddler every morning. We mix in frozen blueberries and strawberries 🙂

10.3g of protein is already 41 calories, so the only way to get a better ration would be removing the sugar, and you don’t want a 0 sugar yogurt
Actually I just looked at a bunch of supermarket own brand 0 fat Greek yogurts and they were all pretty similar but 1/3 the price.

i do like them, but there are some that i like a little better that are much more expensive (this one bulgarian yogurt brand is incredible) but for your money, yeah, fage is my favorite
Local_Ocelot_93
The Aldi version of it lol
But seriously, I don’t think so, it’s a winner for me
Round_Patience3029
I think the texture of Siggi’s is the best but on the more expensive side. I usually buy the 4%.

Fage is the best, I was super into Oikos for a year but Fage is much better for multipurpose use (better mayo base, better thick smoothie base, better for baking etc.).

The lactose free Befree version is my favorite.
One of the few things I eat and never feel bad about.

The only better yogurt I’ve ever had is Ellenos out of Seattle, but I only get it as a splurge cos it’s pricey and I generally want one of the sweetened ones. 5% Fage is our daily go to yogurt.

justice for ratio protein yogurt
leilapocalypse
I like ratio! Lots of flavors, 170cal 25g protein but also kinda pricey
99bottlesofbeertoday
I mix in a little fiber one for crunch.

I’ve eaten greek yogurt almost every single day for breakfast since 2021. No there is not a better fat free Greek yogurt. There might be better with fat but Fage is the calorie counting champ of greek yogurts.

Homemade yoghurt using Fage, trust me it’s easy and delicious
