Yeah! Not bad at all for a gas station/bbq chain – decent breakfast tacos too👍
BetterOFFdead007
Good overall value, fairly consistent, friendly, chill setup.

It’s better bbq than you’ll get at many bbq joints throughout the county. If you live in an area that actually has great bbq, it’s easy to get elitist about Rudy’s and downplay it – but it’s good stuff that doesn’t make you stand in line.

Rudy’s appeal is a lot like Buc-Cees
Consistent, spot on, dependable quality.
They are convenient, and a step above fast food. Not cheap, though I’ve seen folks go through the line on 4th July and Memorial Day and purchase $250 of BBQ.
Rudy’s is solid in my book. And I am a BBQ snob.
Rockosayz
I bet Rudys would be best BBQ in about 40 states, so yeah. Its not top tier by any measn but it hits the spot and the grab and go breakfast tacos slam
Odd-Bite624
They do what they do well. They are not life changing but consistent. Make catering really really easy.

In a pinch. Actually Rudy’s was the first BBQ I ever had (grew up in California).

Great breakfast tacos but weirdly the original one in Leon Springs, Texas is an outlier with no breakfast tacos and pretty much sucks.

Just ate there Sunday before cowboys game in Arlington. It’s ok 7/10

Its the very best of the large chains. Would never disparaging any of their offerings.

They go through more briskets in a day than most of us can fathom-
Commercial chain? Yep
I go there because I know what my money is going to get
And its worth it
True smoke, not a Bill Miller
Go wait in line for your expensive Hippy BBQ
I will be chowing down and gone before you hit the cash register
DonnyTrumpsTaint
Their turkey is pretty gd good for a chain – I enjoy their version of a turkey sammich over any other franchised place.

I haven’t been in a few years. Went to the on on 151 and the meat tasted rancid. I need to give them another try.

Thier two meat bake potatoes with two meats for $13 feeds two people

Bbq is okay, but their breakfast tacos are dirt cheap and absolutely stellar.
Beauxdon
Hell yeah! Great for the price!! Also awesome breakfast tacos!

I go eat at Rudy’s every Saturday with my buddy. It’s a great meal. Their turkey is bomb and their cream corn is amazing. The only people I know who don’t like Rudy’s are BBQ try hards who want to sound cool.
