I swear this Mediterranean garlic dip is the only thing that prevented me from getting sick. This past week, my boyfriend came down with the gnarliest cold, and I was determined not to get sick. So, I decided to make this garlic dip called tomb. Eating raw garlic can actually prevent colds and flu. So, anytime I’m around someone contagious, I start popping them like candy. But instead of eating them straight garlic, cuz that’s nasty, I make this delicious dip. So, here is how you make it. Blend one cup of garlic cloves, a/2 cup of fresh lemon juice, a pinch of salt to make a paste, and then while blending, you slowly pour in avocado oil to emulsify it and thicken it. Then, this is optional, but I like to add a scoop of isipear’s unflavored protein powder. You can’t even taste it, and it adds protein and nutrients, which I’m trying to stay healthy here. That’s the whole point of this dip, so why not add some? Catch me eating this all week to not get sick. And since it’s cold and flu season, you probably should, too. 1. Avocado oil can interfere with taste depending on what you use and can also mess with things such as consistency or stability

Whenever I personally make it, I use either sunflower or canola oil, good for 4+ weeks in the fridge

Usually throw in a teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice with each third of oil in there

If the garlic taste is too intense, just let it sit overnight to let the intensity mellow
