I saw this method described in a post here a couple days ago and had to try it. This onion was life changing. Cut in half, saturated with soy sauce, and baked cut down at 325F for 1.5 hours.

    I like this with butter and Worcestershire sauce, and I leave them whole (but peeled) and wrap each individually with foil.
