It’s lover’s birthday week and every day this week I’m going to whip her one of her favorite meals. Today we’re going to start with mushroom risoto because she loves mushrooms and she loves risoto because she’s Italian. So I’m going to make her a nice Italian dish on the side. We’re going to make some steak. We got black oyster mushrooms and shiakei mushrooms. Okay, start cooking. I’m hungry. Okay, I need to get to this set up. Get your pan nice and hot. A little bit of olive oil. A little bit of butter. Half our shallots and half our garlic. all your mushrooms. We got our low sodium broth here. Add in our dry mushrooms. Thyme leaf. Little pepper. I need to try one hot. Okay, get out. Get out. Shoo. Shoo. Out of here. Stir. Stir. Add in the rest of the shallots and the garlic. Couple of butter. While lover’s doing that, I’ll be here. Slowly add in your broth. Just keep adding in more broth and let it absorb. Make sure your broth is still heating up while you’re doing this. Add in your butter. Their parmesan rio give it that extra creaminess to it. I just want to shove my face in. Maybe not yet. Center of the plate. This is a masterpiece.
