Hey there!
So I’m wondering if I use the right amount of coffee in my basket. Currently using the single dose standard Gaggia basket.
To get some detailed info I tightened the portafilter (well) then released to get a picture of it. There is a slight dent by the brew head, is that something to worry about? On the second photo I see some water leaking besidrs the portafilter that worries me a bit, however I had worse leakages in former shots. Brew head is replaced, using the IMS with silicone gasket. Third photo of the puck after brewing.
Thanks for your ideas in advance!

Yes, you are overfilling. Screw head imprint should not be showing up on dry puck. It will show up after pulling the shot.
Get a scale and pre screen. It makes a difference for my gaggia classic.
Yeah, looks like your packing it a touch too high. The screw mark means the puck’s kissing the shower screen before the shot even starts. Try pulling back half a gram and see if that fixes the leak and improves flow.
If your puck still wants to hug the screw after that, it might just be love, but that’s one relationship worth breaking up!
You are. But not by much. Reduce by 0.5 to 1g until you no longer see the imprint.
Use a scale 16-18 grams depending on basket
