Osteria La Famiglia by Olivier (new entrance)

Where Real Pérola by Olivier used to be, you’ll now find Osteria La Famiglia, signed by the same Chefpreneur, who didn’t yet have an Italian restaurant in his portfolio.

It brings the concept of a traditional osteria, focused on comfort and, especially, sharing, to a space that combines family relaxation with a touch of sophistication , ideal for tasting expertly executed Italian classics, from fresh pasta to generous antipasti, in a meal that truly honors the name “La Famiglia”, but also the “amici“.

Address: Rua da Escola Politécnica 247 (Rato)
Hours: every day from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Reservations and menu: on the website

Bono Cucina (new entrance)

Led by Chef Robson Oliveira, Bono Cucina is a tribute to authentic Italy, focused on tradition and the soul of regional flavours, far from “theatrical Italianisms”.

This space, which is close to Parque Eduardo VII, focuses on sober elegance and pure dishes, from meticulously prepared pasta to the acclaimed risotto, proving to be a gastronomic journey that promises respect for the product and the technique, in an atmosphere that invites you to stay and savor true Italian cucina.

Address: Rua Filipe Folque 19A (Parque)

Corleone Ristorante al Mare (new entrance)

A little further from the center of the capital, in Cascais, lies one of the most beautiful Italian restaurants in Greater Lisbon, housed in a historic building with a unique view over the bay.

Inside you’ll find a kitchen that excels at making Italian dishes, with a focus on the flavors of southern Italy and seafood, as well as fresh pasta, Cacio e Pepe or Spaghetti alle Vongole. It’s the perfect restaurant for a romanticdate.

Address: Rua Fernandes Thomás 1 (Cascais)
Hours: every day from 12pm to 3pm and from 7pm to midnight

Santa

One of our most recent tastings of contemporary Portuguese cuisine was at the Santa restaurant , which is next to Lisbon’s Cathedral (we’ll tell you more about our experience there soon), and one of the dishes we tried was the pasta dish Aqui o Papa é Tuga (26€).

It’s a visually appealing dish where you’ll find a Tiger prawn kebab with Francesinha sauce of crustaceans and greens in tempura (a kind of Peixinhos da Horta) on a bed of tagliatelle in cuttlefish ink sauce. There are few Italian dishes where pasta can rival other elements. This is one of them!

Address: Rua São João da Praça (Sé)
Hours: every day from 10am to midnight
Reservations and menu: on Instagram

La Mafia se sienta a la mesa

With two locations in Lisbon, one in Parque das Nações and the other in the Saldanha area, La Mafia se sienta a la mesa specializes in delicious portions of pasta.

Our highlight is the fresh homemade pasta, prepared following traditional Italian recipes, and this Egg Rigatone, with pomodoro rosso sauce and fresh burrata (€18.80).

Address: Rua do Bojador 107 (Parque das Nações); Avenida Duque de Ávila 66B (Saldanha)
Hours: every day from 12.30pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 11.30pm
Reservations and menu: on the website

La Trattoria

We love a good Italian restaurant and La Trattoria is one of our favorites! This is thanks to the fact that it was the first restaurant to serve Italian cuisine in Lisbon.

In other words, it has known what Lisboners like for many years!

Address: Rua da Artilharia 1 79 (Marquês de Pombal)
Hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website

Mano a Mano

Enough about pizzas! Although at Mano a Mano you’ll also find this specialty, what we suggest is one of the most contemporary dishes of Italian cuisine, duly accompanied by a good glass of Italian wine, or Portuguese, the drink we leave up to you.

At Mano a Mano you’ll find a cozy space and a relaxed atmosphere, in true Italian fashion. The invitation is made, all that’s left is to join in the experience.

Address: Rua do Alecrim 22 (Cais do Sodré)
Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday, 12.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, 12.30 p.m. to 12 a.m.
Reservations and menu: on the website

Valdo Gatti

The handmade organic pizzas are delicious, some of the best we’ve ever tasted, but today our suggestion goes to the Lasagna alla Bolognese , very well stuffed and with a sauce that’s to die for.

At Valdo Gatti, the entire menu strives for quality and the space also focuses on sustainability, both in the ingredients and in the manufacturing processes. Without a doubt, one of our favorite Italian restaurants in Lisbon.

Address: Rua do Grémio Lusitano 13 (Bairro Alto); Rua Cândido dos Reis 5 (Cacilhas)
Hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website

Santa Lucia

The Santa Lúcia pizzeria can be proud of its wood-fired oven, which gives its pizzas that rustic touch we all love in pizza.

Among the various Italian dishes you can try at Santa Lúcia, such as bruschettas, focaccias, carpaccios, risottos and all kinds of pastas, it’s the pizzas that make this Italian restaurant stand out the most, with a complete menu of more than 40 delicious pizzas.

Address: Avenida Defensores de Chaves 62C (Campo Pequeno)
Opening hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website

Mercantina Alvalade

Mercantina, located in the Alvalade neighborhood, is certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, considered the Michelin star of pizzas, which defines it as one of the best Italian restaurants in Lisbon.

Completely prepared in the fresh pasta laboratory of this restaurant in the Alvalade district, one of our suggestions is this Ravioli Caramelle, very colorful (four colors), with ricotta, ham with pesto da horta and cherry tomatoes, proving to be an original and unique pasta dish, where the taste is as important as the image.

Address: Praça Alvalade 6B (Alvalade)
Opening hours: every day
Reservations and menu: on the website

Focacceria BM

We were missing a place dedicated to focaccias, like Focacceria BM, in Lisbon. The city still didn’t have a place dedicated exclusively to the famous Italian sandwiches.

It didn’t, but now it does and it’s a sin not to stop by and try one.

Address: Rua Dom Lourenço de Almeida 3A (Belém)
Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 10pm
Reservations and menu: on the website

Nannarela

This isn’t a pizza restaurant, but it is where you can find our favorite dessert, a delicious artisanal ice cream that only the Italians know how to make.

At Lisboa Secreta we love this ice cream parlor so much that we’ve even made a declaration of love to it. Despite the queues, we are still in love with the genuine Italian ice creams that arrived in the São Bento area by the hand of the Roman Constanza Ventura.

Pistacchio, Flor di Basilico and Parmeggiano Regianno with rock pear are some of the flavors we’ve tried and… we approve! If you prefer, there are also vegan options.

Address: Rua Nova da Piedade 64 (Rato)
Opening hours: every day from 12pm to 7pm
