The awards are described as ‘the Oscars of Italian food and hospitality’, with the biggest and most famous names going up against newcomers and tiny spots all over Scotland in essentially a guide to the best food in the country.

A host of Ayrshire businesses have been unveiled as finalists in the awards, with the ceremony to take place in November.

Judges will include awards ambassador and celebrity chef Aldo Zilli along with judges from the UK Pizza Federation and Warren’s experienced local panel of experts.

The black-tie gala final takes place on Sunday, November 30 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, in Glasgow.
