I almost wish I was joking. The seller got sick of trying to dial in espresso. He had "upgraded" to some really fancy Kitchen Aid. He just wanted something that did everything automagically. He didn't have much of an explanation for the price. I backflushed and descaled tf out of everything. This machine totally works like a dream and kickstarted my whole home setup and now Here we are.

My marketplace also sometimes has some gems on it. Recently a guy was giving away a Rancilio Silvia for free, because iirc the pump was broken or something, and he was now going for a superautomatic. Unfortunately was pickup only and pretty far away from me.
Did get two “broken” grinders for super cheap, though. One wasn’t actually broken and the other needed a €5 part replaced, lol.
