What are other places like it (bars, cafes, bakeries, restaurants etc) that are beloved like that, that have such a strong tight knit vibe? Also are there other places in LA where the customers took over?

Don’t know how it’s uncommon? It’s definitely not the old Cafe Tropical and the prices are now LA prices. It’s pretty much like most other places around. Luckily a few of the old employees still work at other places around the neighborhood to reminisce
