Smoked some wings for football watchin. Half were salt, pepper, and chicken base. The other half I tried kinders honey hot bbq. I used cherry wood at 225-250 for 120 mins, flipped and rotated positions every 30. Cranked up the heat to 375-400 for a final 30 flipping half way and basting the bbq wings with more sauce. The results were delicious. Definitely some crisp to the skin while the meat stayed nice and juicy. Last time I tried finishing in the oven at 425 to crisp and that works, but I made the whole house smell like smoker for 2 days haha. The salt, pepper, and chicken base wings are phenomenal and definitely one of my favorite flavors I’ve made so far. The hot honey were ok, I think I like stubbs sweet n sticky more. I’m still searching for bbq sauces. Let me know your favorite for wings. Cheers.
