Polar Brisling Sardines – nice texture and flavor, but don't forget to take the tails off. They're very smokey, so don't get them if you don't like wood smoked meats.

We are them as put of a charcuterie dinner. 4th photo is a multi-seed cracker with avocado, sardine and pickled onions. 5th photo is sourdough toast, balsamic tomato, sardines and pickled onions.

Not my favorite, just because I'm not a huge smoked person, but still quite nice. They were my husband's first sardines and he really liked them! He was eating them on crackers or toast with Siracha.

They just stopped selling these at my Wal-Mart.

Tails are fine to eat btw, just a little off putting for some people.

Just tried them a few days ago. Tails didn’t bother me. The flavor would probably work better for me in some sort of dip or something.
