    Can you tell me what temp you cooked at for and how long cause I would like to try this approach? I’ve just been running it like 500 and treating it like a pork tenderloin three side sides for seven minutes per side, but I would like to smoke it like that please let me know.

    Costco USDA choice tri tip.

    Coarse black pepper

    Salt

    Meat church gospel

    225F for roughly 2 hours (until 135F internal)

    Seared 3-4 mins per side on cast iron skillet with beef tallow and butter.
