Just bought Musso Stella ice cream machine.
After making my first batch (Dana’s custard blank slate, ~18 minutes of churning), the machine started making creaking noises when the paddle switch is turned on — even with the paddle removed and the bowl empty.
New Musso Stella- is this normal?

I had one, which was already second hand, used it hundreds of times and I got a small scraping sound by the end. Never made any type of grinding noise. That would worry me

Is the paddle sitting correctly and screwed in firmly? My Musso makes a bit of noise. It was second hand, from a restaurant. My bowl has scratch marks in it, from the paddle, so rubbing/scratching is occurring, but most of the noise in mine is from the refrigeration unit.
Did you buy it through Amazon? If so, do you know from which vendor? If unsure, how long did shipping take? Was it shipped from Hong Kong / China?
Not normal. I just got a new one and been using it for months and it never sounds like that. Def return asap
