What a treat! Been holding on to this for some time.
Ruby core with a garnet rim, not bricking yet though.
Nose is pencil shavings, bell pepper, sage brush, menthol and fleshly black fruit dipped in dark chocolate.
Very giving on the palate! Overripe boysenberry, mulberry, blackberry. Gravelly minerals laced with soft tannins. Long, giving finish of herb and fruit and cocoa.
Let it decant for an hour prior and enjoyed over the course of 3 hours.
