When I was younger and my grandparents would do Thanksgiving Christmas she would take red onions green onions cucumber vinegar salt and pepper and she would make it the night before dinner and oh my God it would be so good and my auntie would take hers and put it over her greens my mom would always make the greens that woman can make the best greens on Earth she always make mustards and turnips greens but back in the day the turnip greens will come with a turnip on them the root but now times has changed so much until you can't even find greens with the turnip greens with the turnip on them anymore but the onions and vinegar and cucumber salad is so good
