  1. I'm glad to see that greek cuisine is being more well known now.The recipe for Ταραμοσαλάτα (taramosalata=fish roe salad) is exactly that, since it stands for: ταραμάς (=fish roe) and σαλάτα (=salad).
    We greeks, don't eat ταραμοσαλάτα on a daily basis, it's more of a holiday dish.
    On Καθαρά Δευτέρα (=Clean Monday
    Clean Monda, Pure Monday, Green Monday or simply Monday of Lent) we eat it, mostly with bread (to be feign, I haven't seen anyone eat it anyother way, but i guess you can experiment) but it's not just any bread , it's λαγάνα (=Lagana) which is basically flatbread made with flour, yeast(μαγιά), salt and water
    and on traditional recipes, you don't use yeast(προζύμι) to make it.
