This October, anticipation builds for the arrival of Mazarine, set to open late next month in London’s illustrious Hanover Square. The latest concept from Khaled Dandachi and Fred Srouchi, the restaurateurs behind the acclaimed Sparrow Italia in Mayfair (launched in 2022), Mazarine represents a new benchmark in modern French dining.

Located directly on Hanover Square, in one of London’s most iconic addresses, Mazarine embodies the essence of coastal French cuisine: atmospheric, gastronomic, convivial, and always elegant. Conceived and curated with the discerning guest in mind, the restaurant will showcase exceptional seafood crafted by a world-class culinary team led by a chef, previously at LPM.

Every detail of Mazarine is designed to captivate the senses, from its warm, contemporary interiors by American design studio, Bolt Design to its thoughtful and welcoming hospitality. Service will transcend formality, offering an experience that is attentive, intuitive, and deeply personal.

Inspired by the rhythm and beauty of the sea, Mazarine promises a dining destination of effortless elegance, where every visit feels like a grand escape.

Mazarine will serve only the freshest seafood and finest wines, featuring an expansive selection tailored to its most selective guests. It is a setting poised to become a place of revelry and sanctuary in the heart of central London, unfailingly original, memorable, and refined, proudly extending its welcome to diners from around the world.

The menus honour heritage, celebrate craftsmanship, and cultivate moments of singular sophistication. The intention is to elevate culinary traditions, drawing from classical French techniques, the finest seasonal offerings, and the steadfast ideals of authenticity, precision, and tasteful indulgence.

Choosing from a menu replete with options inspired by the seaside of France, guests can expect an extensive selection of starters, small bites, salads, entrées, and sharing mains, alongside an exquisite raw bar and decadent desserts.

With fish and seafood as the focal point of the restaurant, an enticing array of dishes enlivens each menu: delicacies such as Smoked Eel Croquettes (or “Croque Mazarine”), Salade Niçoise, Octopus Béarnaise, Raviole of Cornish Crab with lobster broth & citronelle, Le Grand Aïoli Marseillais (salt cod, sea urchin, langoustines, seasonal vegetables), Coquelet with piment d’Espelette, and Aged Filet de Boeuf with truffle sauce.

Ahead of the opening, co-founder Khaled Dandachi shares his vision: “Mazarine, in all things, aims to epitomize the virtues of timeless refinement, technical perfection, and peerless hospitality in every gesture. At Mazarine, we believe in dining over eating, elegance over opulence, ritual over routine, and guests, above all else.”

The vision is to establish Mazarine amongst London’s most distinguished dining establishments, curating not just meals but moments of sophisticated indulgence that elevate the guest experience. It’s a vision shaped by an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship, hospitality, and culinary excellence. Currently London’s fine dining scene is undergoing a renaissance, resilient in the face of exits, pandemics, and fleeting trends..
