Was enjoying a nice can of sardines when I noticed a little “sack” in between the fish. Did I just hit gold and unearth a sack of free sardine roe?
Pictures online seem to corroborate my find, they didn’t taste like much honestly, but wanted to confirm with yall.
I definitely looked it up before eating it, I’m pretty confident that’s what it is, which is why I ate it, but figured I’d ask yall what you thought

That’s definitely a roe sack, it’s like winning the lottery imo when you get one or even two with some in a can.
Or if you just buy fresh smelt they almost always have roe, that’s usually a surefire jackpot more often than not.
