I usually finish work late since I’m part of the closing crew at a local mart (we close around 10 p.m.).
After a long Sunday shift, I wanted something warm and filling — nothing fancy, just a quick homemade meal that feels comforting.

So tonight’s combo was all from Coupang’s house brand, “Gomgom.”

1️⃣ Gomgom Thinly Sliced Beef Brisket (대패 우삼겹) – about ₩7,990 (~$5.7)
The thin slices make it easy to grill quickly, perfect for late-night cooking.
Some of the pieces at the bottom were broken, but since I planned to use them in soup, it worked out fine.
I first grilled a handful of pieces to add depth to the stew later.

2️⃣ Gomgom × Wookine “Rich Beef Doenjang-jjigae” (진한 차돌 된장찌개) – about ₩6,000 (~$4.3)
It’s a ready-made Korean soybean paste stew that already includes sliced brisket, potato, zucchini, tofu, and mushrooms.
You just pour it into a pot and heat — but I added some of the grilled brisket from earlier to boost the flavor even more.
The result was richer and meatier, like something you’d get at a proper Korean diner.

3️⃣ Cham Sauce by Woori Food Co., Ltd. (참소스, ㈜우리식품)
A must-have when eating grilled beef or vegetables — it’s soy-based but slightly sweet,
which balances out the greasiness of the meat nicely.

Altogether, it’s a simple, inexpensive way to have a satisfying Korean-style dinner at home,
especially after a long day at work.
