




This was a 10 pack from Fangst, a Danish cannery.
Pictured is the first of the ten that I have eaten.
This is the “Faroe Islands salmon with sea buckthorn and lemon verbena”.
The meat itself had a great firm texture with a nice high fat content, the flavored oil was delicious, with a nice fresh citrusy note.
Will keep posting over the next few weeks and try the rest of the tins!
These were purchased from the Australian based Canned Company (https://www.thecannedcompany.com.au/) which I highly recommend!

I’ve only had the Fangst smoked trout with juniper. It was delish. Large, firm pieces of fish with an interesting Scandinavian flavor from the juniper. I’d love to try more of their range! 😮💨
