[Music] What are you thinking about? Same thing you are. What is up gangsters? My name is Beansy and today we are trying East Lake Fur. Let’s get into it. All right, here we are. Get my usual grilled pork, sauteed chicken bond meat, and an iced coffee with a sippy lid. I’m going to take the lid off though, just so uh we can see the coffee. Well, the coffee is really low. Yeah, not too bad. It’s uh kind of like I don’t know. It’s creamy. Not too sweet. Pretty mellow. Pretty mellow. Uh I didn’t get any utensils, so I got to go and get some of those. All right, I want to try the pork first cuz this pork actually looks like it might actually be grilled pork. Not too bad. It’s thicker than a lot of places do. Not a lot of carrot or green onions. Looks like there’s a lot of lettuce down here, though. Try out this uh spring roll. Okay, we got some cucumber down here in the lettuce. Good. So, this is fairly reasonably priced. This is also my third time attempting this. Almost fourth time cuz they’re closed Sunday and Monday. Last time I went there, I went there on a Sunday and then this past Monday, I was realizing uh Vietnamese was getting all the votes again. I was going to go on Monday. I understand service day being closed Monday being service day, but I don’t understand Sunday other than it’s an industrial park because yeah, I guess not too many people are going there, the industrial park on a Sunday. This is full of carrot. One long slice of cucumber. Bit of onion. Cilantro. Crack this in half. Oh, cucumber didn’t want to go. Not a whole lot of chicken, but there is chicken. I did get a lot of chicken in that bite, but I’m not really liking that sauce. I don’t know what they’re putting on there to make it spicy, but it’s not very spicy. There was a little bit of a tingle in that bite. Sauté should be like peanut and chili sort of sauce. And this pretty mild. Here’s our fish sauce. Let’s uh Ooh, smells very chili forward. Let’s get this mixed up. [Music] Now, I have gone to this location before for the fur and uh it was a long time ago. I don’t remember the experience whatsoever. So, I guess I’m going to have to go back there and try the fur because yeah, when I went inside, I’m like, “Oh, I don’t remember coming here at all.” I know I have. I just it I don’t remember it whatsoever. All right, let’s try and get a little bit of everything in this bite. Here we go. Flavor-wise, that’s really good. I like how easily the noodles are sort of like movable and bouncing around. They’re not breaking. Yeah, the flavor on that fish sauce is really good. I saw somebody in the comments get excited about uh fish sauce be like, “Oh, it was good until you put the fish sauce on it.” It’s literally a name. It’s not really fishy. It It’s like That’s what the dressing is called. Fish sauce. Yeah, this is really good. And that’s mostly down to the uh the grilled pork and the noodles and that fish sauce. The spring rolls are better at Beton Brew, but these are good spring rolls. I think the spoon altogether is actually better than Jensen’s. The bon me though. Pretty sure Jen’s is better her chicken and the uh the flavor on her chicken and uh I think just a better balance of ingredients over Jen’s I’m not digging this bread. It’s kind of sort of the right kind of bread, but it doesn’t have that uh sort of French bread flavor to it. You know what I mean? I would have liked more carrot and more cucumber over here in the salad. The flavors aren’t lying. The flavors are really good. Real nice. Good amount of peanut in there, too. Really good. Now, I didn’t get any shots of the interior of this place because it was pretty busy. Steady flow of white people. But the saving grace and why I want to go back is I saw two turnovers of uh lunch breaks, people coming out of the kitchen to eat f. Also, h I They made it so fast. I I didn’t get a picture, but there’s like the right way to set up a table at a Vietnamese restaurant, and they did it right there where like all the chopsticks and everything you need is right there at the table. Like that’s the right way to do it. Yeah, not a bad place. Weird that it’s only open 5 days a week, but it’s in an industrial park, so that could be why. If you enjoyed watching me try this Vietnamese place, check out Jen’s over here. Thanks for watching. Peace. Who is this irresistible creature who has an insatiable love for the dead?

I hype so hard for east lake. Great family run restaurant. Chicken or beef sate lemongrass is the way to go for vermicelli, and the rare beef sate pho is phenomenal. Love their light spring and shirmp salad rolls. We eat here at least twice a month.
I have never had fish sauce , if i ever get the chance i will thou , the banh mi looks good but the other one looked better . All the food and coffee looked like it tasted good.lol ending with a burp
Spring rolls & noodles look fantastic! Great food review 😊
What the pho? Daughters of Darkness! Nice deep cut 👏 Looks like a decent joint, even if you did get boned on the bean sprouts.
Dammit, every time you do one of these reviews I tell myself "I've gotta find me a good bahn mi place!"…and then I never do. I need to leave Post-Its around my studio or backwards tattoos like in Memento or something.
What's that music you snuck in there? I was thinking it was Skinny Puppy, at first (a Canadian band) but then I couldn't place it. Is it?
05:07 …oh, the chopsticks and such. I thought you meant the booster seats and I thought, "Is Beanzie shorter than I thought???" 🤣
I need to try some nowwww :)))))
