We have a chance to buy some of these at $40.

Would it be worth to buy a few to set aside to age a little, drink now, or to save for gifts.

With Christmas coming up it might be nice for a house warning gift.

We have not tried this winery before so any help would be appreciated. TIA

It’s very rich and opulent. Some folks love it, others don’t. Go buy one now, drink it, then decide for yourself.

You will learn 1000x more about your palate by trying different wines yourself instead of asking internet strangers.

Yes, you may spend money on a bottle you don’t like. But it’s not necessarily a waste of money, because you’re still learning.

Too sweet and jammy for me. I’ve never enjoyed any of his wines (and /r/wine loves to shit on OS).

Orin Swift wines always give me a wicked hangover no matter if I drink a glass or a bottle. A lot of people love his wines so if it were me, i’d gift it.

This is a very dense wine. A little more structured though than pure opulence. I enjoy drinking it if I’m in a chewy wine mood where focusing on the wine isn’t much of an option.

Good gift for younger wine drinkers too. The fruit is so dense and singular that it’s really approachable and luscious. $40 is pretty solid.

Keep 🙂 which number is shown on the label? It might also get some value as collectible item..
