Chicago is getting ready for many Oktoberfest 2025 parties this fall, according to event listings from multiple venues across the city. The German festival will bring beer, food, and music to different parts of Chicago from mid-September through early October.
Sept. 19-21: Oktoberfest with the Cubs
Wrigleyville will celebrate its first-ever Chicago Oktoberfest with the Cubs from Friday, September 19, through Sunday, September 21, at the Toyota Camry Lot on W. Grace Street. The three-day event welcomes all ages with tickets starting at just $15, while children 10 and under get free entry. The Cubs’ event includes tribute bands, DJ performances, a Dachshund parade, and stein-holding contests, with activities planned for every hour of the weekend according to MLB event details.
Sept. 20: Lakeview East Oktoberfest
Murphy’s Bleachers at 3655 North Sheffield Avenue will host the Lakeview East Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 20, from 3:30-7:30 p.m. Event organizers through Eventbrite announce that all proceeds will benefit local charities with a $500 door prize and $20,000 in silent auction items. The celebration features a pig roast, traditional German food, beer, wine, and live band entertainment, with tickets costing $35 in advance or $40 at the door.

Sept. 20 – Oct. 5: The Grillroom Chophouse & Wine Bar Oktoberfest Pairing
The Grillroom Chophouse & Wine Bar at 33 W. Monroe Street offers a special Oktoberfest pairing from Saturday, September 20, through Sunday, October 5. Restaurant details show guests can enjoy their signature Sausage & Peppers appetizer paired with select Oktoberfest beer for $20.

Sept. 21, Sept. 25 & Oct. 5: Cody’s Public House Oktoberfest
West Lakeview’s Cody’s Public House at 1658 W. Barry Ave. will host several Chicago Oktoberfest 2025 events throughout the season. The dog-friendly venue will feature a Stein Hoisting Competition during the Cowboys vs Bears game on Sunday, September 21, plus a Deer & A Beer Oktoberfest on Thursday, September 25, at 7 p.m.

Cody’s will also hold a special Barktoberfest event on Sunday, October 5, to benefit Chicago Canine Rescue, where half of their Pup Tail Menu sales will go to help homeless dogs find homes, according to venue announcements.
Sept. 26-28: Oktoberfest Chicago
St. Alphonsus will host its 24th annual Oktoberfest from Friday, September 26, through Sunday, 28, at 1429 W. Wellington Ave., transforming the Lincoln/Southport/Wellington intersection into a Bavarian beer hall.Chicago Events listings detail the festival running Friday 5-10 p.m., Saturday noon-10 p.m., and Sunday noon-7 p.m. The celebration includes live oompah bands, craft beer from local and international breweries, stein-holding contests, polka dancing, and a Sunday Kinderfest for children, with admission costing $10 on Friday and Saturday, $5 on Sunday.
Sept. 27: Hubbard Street Oktoberfest block party
River North will transform into a German beer hall whenHubbard Haus hosts a massive block party on Saturday, September 27. The street festival runs from noon to 9 PM on Hubbard Street between LaSalle and Clark, with indoor events continuing into the evening. People can enter for free with a suggested donation, while ticket upgrades starting at $15 offer special perks like commemorative cups and drink vouchers across four participating venues, according to Hubbard Haus Chicago.
Sept. 28: Brookfield Zoo Chicago Oktoberfest
Brookfield Zoo Chicago Oktoberfest event will be on Sunday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the East Mall. The zoo’s celebration comes free with regular admission and includes live polka music and German-style activities. Families can enjoy music, dancing, and games while trying seasonal menu items like bratwurst, specialty beers, and pretzels with cheese that will be sold at the event, according to zoo organizers.

Oct. 4: UVAE Kitchen & Wine Bar’s German wine tasting
UVAE Kitchen & Wine Bar at 5553 N. Clark Street offers a unique German wine tasting experience on Saturday, October 4, from 3-4:30 p.m. The Andersonville venue’s sommeliers will guide guests through Germany’s renowned wine regions for $40 per person, featuring Riesling, Pinot Noir, and indigenous grape varietals.
