    I do this but with a fried egg. Sometimes use a sausage patty but normally beef as a brunch burger fry up combo. The fried egg when it breaks and mixes with the burger and bacon juices and the ketchup is elite, messy but elite.

    For breakfast I see it a bit heavy, but to eat it in the afternoon or evening it is perfect and more if I accompany it with a very cold beer🤤

    I could see this going over well for a Saturday or Sunday brunch in a trendy hipster-ish college neighborhood as a $20 hangover cure for the students rolling on daddy’s money. +$5 for a side of “home frites” and $10 2-for-1 mimosas between 11am and 1pm.

    Looks fire but for my money to be “ultimate” the bun needs to be a donut like a Luther.

    Edit: OR thick pieces of Texas toast heavily, uh, toasted and smeared with a layer of raspberry jam or preserves.

    Edit 2: Preferences are not critiques and it looks like you executed what YOU like perfectly

    I did this at one of the restaurants I was chef at. Over easy egg, tick cut bacon, hollandaise, on top of two smash burgers with pepper jack cheese, with crispy hash browns.

    This looks delicious! But I refuse to upvote food too big to take a bite. This would need a bite from the top, chew a bit, then fit a bite from the bottom.
