I'll post the recipe tomorrow but I got it from an old buddy who would come up from Mexico every weekend to open his street side stand. This was like 10 years ago now so every now and then I pull out the book and make them just like he did. Besides the marinade or seasoning it's just a few ingredients but I've never been to an establishment that can do "street tacos" the way I was raised with in southern Cali and Mexico. No drenching it in salsa or hot sauce, no fancy cheeses or whatever – just some cotilla, cilantro, onions, carne, and lime. Anyone else prefer the simplistic taste of a taco right off a dirty old stand by a guy who barely speaks English? Lol
