Picked these up at an estate sale. I was told they were stored in a wine cellar at 70% humidity. Do these bottles look like they’re still good?
I apologize if this is an unknowable question with the amount of information I've given. The reason I'm asking is because I would like to give them as gifts to my parents for Christmas and have them actually be able to drink the wine.

I’d say yes. 1982 is a fabled year for Bordeaux.

Very much so, yes!

Great fill level on the Mouton! Lafite could be higher…
How much are they asking for one/both?
If you’re only buying one, go for Mouton. If the price is good and you’re willing to take a risk, get them both

Depending on what you paid, this answer could range from ‘No” to “You won’t ever get a better deal in your life.”
If your parents enjoy wine they will absolutely love this gift, even if they are vinegar.
Now, the Lafite’s fill level is a little low for an ’82 and the cork appears to be elevated but that Mouton? That looks in great shape.
My question to you is…did you randomly come across these or do you frequently scour estate sales?

Gift the Mouton. Drink the Lafite. There is no way to know. But the cork on the Lafite has me guessing it’s the most likely to be cooked.

You’ll have to let us know
Both for $350? My friend, you got the jackpot of a lifetime. At that price, absolutely worth the gamble! Congrats!
Where did you find these
That’s a bottle of Rothchild you have there my friend, treat it well
The cork push could be from cold exposure. Shoulders are high and no evident leakage. It’s always speculative, but you may have winners. Good luck!
