how to make pork ribs at home[ASMR]
Ingredients:
• 850g pork ribs
• 25g ginger
• 1 star anise
• 3 bay leaves
• 3 dried chilies
• Some green onions (optional)
Blanch the ribs:
• Add ribs to a pot of cold water
• Add 15g ginger and 1 tbsp rice wine
• Bring to a boil and skim off the foam
Make the sauce:
• 1 tbsp rice wine
• 2 tbsp light soy sauce
• 1/4 tsp dark soy sauce
• 1 tsp oyster sauce
• Mix well
Make starch water:
• 2 tsp cornstarch + 100ml water
Cook the ribs:
• Heat oil over medium-low heat
• Add rock sugar, stir until melted and golden brown
• Add ribs, stir-fry until lightly browned
• Add ginger, star anise, bay leaves, and dried chilies, stir for aroma
• Pour in the sauce, mix evenly
• Add 800ml hot water (just enough to cover the ribs)
• Bring to a boil, then simmer on medium-low for 50 minutes
• Add 1/8 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp sugar
• Add the starch water and cook on high heat until the sauce thickens
• Sprinkle green onions if you like
💡 Note: 1 tsp = 5ml, 1 tbsp = 15ml

Have to stir carefully! 😄 Cook until the surface turns golden Add ginger, star anise, bay leaves, and dried chilies Stir until fragrant Pour in the sauce Mix well Add 800ml hot water (just enough to cover the ribs) Turn to high heat and bring to a boil Then simmer on medium-low heat for 50 minutes Add 1/8 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp sugar Add the starch water Turn to high heat and cook until the sauce thickens Sprinkle some green onions (optional) The ribs are rich and meaty, with a hint of caramel aroma — totally mouthwatering Can’t wait to taste it!
