I explain to trick-or-treaters that they can just pick candy, or candy and sardines, nobody has to only take fish. The King Oscars have already gone!

I used to put an onion in my candy bowl just to mess with the little dudes minds. I’d ask first thing, Ok who wants the onion. Never thought to put sardines in there. That would have been a bigger hoot.
