Enjoyed with the desserts at Lazy Bear in San Francisco.
Perfect nightcap.
Orange marmalade, honey, orange peel, apricot jam notes.
This continues to drink beautifully and will likely get even better with time!
In contrast to the 2001, this is a little lighter on its feet and a little stronger on the acidity, which is likely a function of its young age.
93+ points (on the dessert wine scale).

Man, Lazy Bear’s dessert pairing game is on another level. Château d’Yquem is such a killer way to end a meal there.
Had a good friends wife say oh man, I wish I could try d’yquem, at a restaurant that I go to lots, I said huh, let’s go downstairs. We went 8,000 bttl cellar, the best in Calgary Alberta Canada Teatro, I said Taylor where is the 1990-1995 section, we picked a bttl that looked right, and savored. She was in tears and was one of the best times of my life that I will never forget. Amazing.
Had this same glass at lazy bear last week. Can confirm tasting notes and enjoyment, cheers my friend
