πGlorious Bananas & Cream Pancakes and breakfast plate π [~549 for TOTAL plate]
I actually had this for dinner and am still thinking about it. Also, yes, I literally have posted some variation of protein pancakes thrice on this subreddit, but I stand by them being the BEST volume food ever. π
π₯Breakdown (Pancake recipe below)π₯β¬οΈ
- Banana Pancakes ~245 cal
- Sf Maple syrup (3 tbsp)~8 cal
- 1/3 Pink Lady Apple ~43 cal
- 1/4 cup whipped cottage cheese ~55 cal
- Medium Banana (half in pancakes, half served on side) ~110 cal
- Strawberries x2 ~8 cal
- Medium Egg ~70 cal
πRecipeππ¦
π₯ 3 tbsp Egg Substitute
π₯20 grams AP Flour
π₯20 grams Vanilla Protein Powder
π₯Sweetener (to taste; I did 1.5 tbsp)
π₯1 tsp Baking Powder
π₯1-2 tbsp water (adjust as needed)
π₯1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
π₯1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
π₯half of a banana (sliced)
π₯£ Mix all ingredients from egg substitute to cinnamon. Pour onto skillet (I highly recommend the Dash Mini Skillet) and place banana slices. Cook, flip, and enjoy!
βοΈβοΈNotes:
β’ My cottage cheese is lactose free but you could always substitute 2% or whatever ur preference is for different macros
β’ Donβt waste your time buying or looking for whipped cottage cheese. Throw some regular cottage cheese in a food processor and blend it up (I added a tiny bit of water to help it smooth out a bit)
β’ Subbing the egg for plain egg whites or removing the banana from the side will lower the calories even more without affecting the volume too much
