This is my cozy recipe for Sbrisolona alla Mandorle — a crumbly, buttery Italian cake that smells like heaven ✨
Ingredients:
• 100g flour
• 100g corn flour
• 100g sugar
• 100g soft butter
• 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
• A pinch of nutmeg or walnut powder
• ½ tbsp banana flavor
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix the flour, corn flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and nutmeg (or walnut powder).
2. Add the soft butter and banana flavor.
3. Mix gently with your hands until the dough becomes crumbly — not smooth.
4. Spread the mixture into a round pan (20–22 cm), lined with parchment paper.
5. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–35 minutes, until golden.
6. Let it cool, then break it into rustic pieces and enjoy 💛
