Hello! I was gifted all of these lovely peppers a couple of days ago and would like to make some salsa. Problem is I’ve never made any before. Anyone willing to offer some advice or recipes?

Equipment I have:
Propane and Charcoal grills
Blendtec blender
Oven with broiler
Carbon steel and cast iron pans

Thanks!

    Sky is the limit.

    -Char them on the grill,

-fry them on the cast iron,

-drizzle them with olive oil and bake

-blanche them in boiling water for a few seconds to a minute.

    All are viable and delicious.

Included some tomatoes, onions, garlic, salt, cilantro. You can add other spices too but I would suggest the first few sauces to be on the simpler side before getting creative with it. You can also blend to desired consistency ranging from chunky to fully liquid.

For a very basic Salsa you can char the peppers with onions tomatoes some garlic cool and puree season with salt and lime. You can add or subtract any number of fruits or veg and spices for different variations. Also chicken bullion powder or even some msg its good

Throw em in the oven, forget about them till they’re really dark, blend with tomatoes, onion, garlic(also roasted) then some acid like vinegar or lime juice, and I like to add water to thin it out by about 1/3 .

Just experiment! You can’t really fuck it up tbh.
