Those are industrial insulation blankets. If those blankets have what should be temp mat insulation inside of them, you don’t want to eat food that comes off of that grill.

Unless the owner is in Antarctica such covering is unnecessary, at least for a Weber. I smoked in driving snow, pouring rain, howling winds, and multiple gin and tonics. As long as there was fire there was smoke.
