Left side medium rare to rare, inner right side blue rare.

  2. The meat being cold should have answered that for you

    No.

Really really nice gear (and lighting) all-around, though.

Get into photography and staging rather than cooking mate, you have an amazing talent for those. But that thermometer should’ve told you the answer.

I love rare steaks and would be salivating over the one on the right

What is the purpose of the fan like looking thing?

Thats rare leaning on blue. Give it a little longer but dont over do it, if your grill is good and hot perhaps another 2 mins a side. Good and hot means its hard for you to have your hand turning the steak because its so damn hot.

You dont have much sear on yours so I am going to guess not hot enough.

A thermometer will help you on this journey

You spent thousands on an outdoor kitchen, silly knives, an egg and don’t know what medium rare looks like?

  10. Imagine the sound of the fork scraping along that metal plate as you ate

I know they are not but something with your photos make them seem like AI. HDR and contrast maybe?

Indeed sir, that is excellent cooking and don’t let no one tell you anything about how to handle steak

Nope. Thats 100% rare. Also no sear on the outside.

Cook looks good, but I prefer a sear
