October 2025: Our latest update of this list includes some newer greats just by Borough Market, from classy French fancy Camille (home to one of the finest young head chefs in town, Elliot Hashtroudi) to Cynthia Shanmugalingam’s homespun Sri Lankan spot Rambutan. Go the other way from the station towards Tooley Street and you’ll find authentic American fare at Texas Joe’s Slow Smoked Meats and Mexican tacos as well as plenty of mezcal at Santo Remedio.
