Although unusual, eating the crust first is acceptable so it gives you time for the cheese to cool down a bit and enjoy the crispiness of the crust. That said, the crust is a filling free component, possibly jeopardising your ability to enjoy the pizza to its fullest.
EDIT: I’m from Napoli, eating Pizza with knife and fork is not considered a crime there, a bit unnecessary maybe, but not a crime.

Only a crime if you are sharing. My nephew starts a square cut from the edge and cuts a line straight to the middle. Drives me nuts.

I’m from Philadelphia and we have some of the best pizza next to NYC and this pizza is trash. It’s like two tiers below a frozen red baron
