Leave while you still can! Don’t ignore the signs!

Is she a cockroach? If she is I’ll let it slide.

  3. The worst part is not the sugar but how overcooked that pasta is.

  4. If she adds strawberries then it’s fine, she’s just polish

  5. Well, living in the country side of turkey and yes. I know many people around me who used to do that. I sometimes eat that way too. Feels nostalgic.

  6. I went to Tanzania during Ramadhan so yes, yes it is

at this point in my life I’d add some butter and cinnamon to the sugar and just go crazy on it

  8. CTPABA_KPABA

If she added poppy seeds it would be old meal from my country.

Is your girlfriend buddy the elf?

If we had leftovers my mom fried them with sugar in the pan for my father.

Sweet spaghetti is a thing in the philippines

Starch main with starch side and sugar on top. She’s either a competitive athlete in an aerobically demanding sport or morbidly obese.

  13. Crocodoro

    She’s Leslie Knope

If she adds breadcrumbs, jam it’s a typical sweet food of northern part of Serbia, or even more common is pasta with poppyseeds and sugar

Is the spaghetti hiding behind whatever the hell that is? Lol.

Go watch Men in Black, you’ll know why she eats sugar with everything.

This was a “treat” my grandma once prepared for me. Noodles, butter, sugar. I guess those things were scarce after the war. Also probably a polish/silesian thing

Buttered noodles with sugar and sometimes cinnamon are not that uncommon in Germany.

In Germany, we sometimes eat pasta with milk and sugar. It’s quite nice, actually

My 5 year old likes to grab doritos from the bag and dip it in his vegetable cream soup so sugar on spaghetti doesnt sound too weird.

In Serbia, put them in the pan with breadcrumbs and sugar. I had no idea if it was normal but man is it good

  23. Winter_Highlight

The sugar isn’t the problem. She needs to learn how to cook spaghetti

  24. gammelrunken

Holy shit why is it so overcooked? That’s way worse than putting sugar on it

  25. Disinfectant-Addict

Nothing about this is normal. So …grey.

And here I was, last night, out of sugar, wondering if I should salt my porridge oats. I did btw. It was OK.

    Someone…call the Italians.

  28. Nothing in that plate is fine. That spaghetti is dead given how overcooked it is. That meatball/kotleta looks dry as hell. Why is there no sauce at all? Why are there no veg or salad?

That is one of the saddest plates I’ve seen in a while… And I live in the UK. Sugar on spaghetti is the least of the problems here.

  29. Exotic_Wildness

We eat it with poppy seed and sugar in Hungary, however not spaghetti, but rather tagliatelle

Eating like your from the depression era, I see.

Tell your gf to add some cottage cheese, vanilla essence, lemon zest, some cream and put that in the oven 👉

I really don’t have an opinion. Just love this gif.

Better then making it in coffee and eating it.

I was young, first month staying alone in a backroom without my parents (long sad story), and it sounded great in my head but NOT good in practice

  34. Fun fact: When pasta was new and only for the rich, they cooked it soft and served it with sugar as a dessert. Only when pasta became more common, people started to serve it as a primo.

I could see if she put a little sugar in the red sauce, it punches the flavor while also cutting the acidity so it’s easier on the stomach.

Never did that sauceless. Might try it sometime just to see how that tastes.
