I bring news that a dim sum (and more) spot has opened inside the Village by the Grange taking over what was once Eats Manila (as you can see).

Prices are in line with most of the other food court residents, so expect that around $10-15 + tax will net you a filling lunch.

The options are plentiful, with the dim sum classics of har gow, siu mai, and steamed buns (w/ various fillings). They limited space on their hot table and have just opened, so pickings may be slim or unavailable.

I do not know if they will steam to order.

In terms of quality, it depends on if you get them fresh steamed or if they've been sitting on the hot table for a while, but I would say that quality is commensurate to price @ 6.99 for four siu mai and 3.99 for a bbq pork bun.

If they can get past new store growing pains or start offering steamed to order, I can envision great things.

There are better options for dim sum if you're willing to journey to Chinatown or spend a bit more, but its very convenient for the Universiry Avenue and OCAD crowds.

A welcome addition to the food court, but I'll have to keep an eye on them as time progresses.
