I’m an absolute freak for anything pistachio. Holiday flavors are on sale at Whole Foods. My willpower crumbled when I saw this. Lots of ground pistachios throughout the pistachio side, which was swirled with a vanilla “macaron” ice cream, but it just tasted like a really good vanilla ice cream to me. Definitely getting this again. SO good.

Dang it I gotta go to Whole Foods! This is calling my name along with the cranberry panettone flavor!
I’m annoyed the fall stuff is already gone. I loved their pumpkin ice cream sandwiches. Had to buy a quart of TJ’s pumpkin ice cream and some cookies to make my own.
Ugggghhhh I love pistachio. If you ever make it to Long Beach, California, Long Beach Creamery has the best pistachio ice cream ice ever had.
The pistachio ice cream base is made with pistachio puree(butter), a touch of whiskey, and a good amount of pistachio liqueur. The mix in is a pistachio brittle with whole pistachios, broken up to a a pieces. I used to work there, so I have to mention the flavors rotate, but you’re one lucky duck if they’re making pistachio ice cream when you show up 😍
This look like a good substitute though, I’m gonna have to find it
