French company that I started getting from my go to place for deens. Made by a French company called La Bonne Mer, they have a good variety and everything I’ve gotten has been excellent. They also have cute little designs on all the tins and I appreciate that it is printed right on the tin to minimize extra packaging, unlike some other brands..sorry fishwife I do like some of their stuff but I really wish they’d eliminate the unnecessary outer box.
Had these with cracked pepper, Dijon and pickled onions, but they’d be great just on their own too

Prêtes à se poeler lets you know these babies are “ready to pan fry,” and they really do get even better warmed up in all that butter.
That looks amazing!! Yum
I have this genetic variant that makes me pretty bad at converting beta carotene into vitamin A. So I use that as an excuse for my borderline excessive butter intake.
All this to say that I’m a certified Butter Boy and I need to try this tin immediately.
These are really nice when heated up. I’ve tried a lot of sardines from Ferrigno and they’ve all been great.
These are genuinely my favorite from this brand—and actually were my first can of sardines ever, and made me a full on sardine fan! So delicious, I also just eat them straight from the can with crackers!!
Perhaps the cutest most fun tin I have seen 🥰
The have sardines with boobs on them!
Waaaaaah, the French
These have become one of my favorite tins as of late. Tastes so good fried in the butter just enough to crisp the skins then added over a bowl of mashed potatoes topped with grated parmesan.
I’ve been wanting to try sardines in butter SO BAD
