    He’s putting the eels in strong alcohol and they’re going nuts in there bc it burns.

    Then he’s adding another shot of a different alcohol. Could be for flavor or show.

    It’s supposed to be stored for a bit so the eels break down but he just drinks it down to show how gangster he is. It’s a cultural thing.

    Seen multiple people here talk about how the meat industry is evil so no one should feel bad about this or they are a hypocrite. Sure the meat industry is evil is but that doesn’t negate this being pointless and cruel, and the meat industry no matter how cruel does serve a purpose, this accomplished nothing for anyone and was needlessly cruel. We cannot control the world we live in and not everyone is willing to give up a food group because of how it’s produced, they aren’t evil for that, but what this man did was purely for spectacle and nothing else.
