I usually enjoy tasty rather than too much spice. I find habanero sauces amd fresh jalapeños super tasty. Do you guys think I will enjoy any of these? I’ll be in the area about two more hours. Thank you for the help.

I buy my hot sauce like I buy my booze. From the top shelf!

  2. Xx_GetSniped_xX

Yea get one of each and pour em all into a bucket, that’s how you make the super sauce ™

  3. NickMcScience

All the Yellow Bird sauces are pretty tasty. I especially recommend the greenSerrano one if you want lots of flavor but not much heat

  4. Aggravating-Bug1769

Any thing from The top 4 rows

  5. MisterB330

Rufus Teagues are pretty tasty and have great texture

  6. Tiny-Albatross518

Franks is great. A vinegary salty shot of heat. Like Frank’s on eggs? Yeah.

  7. dawoozle

There’s a brand from Michigan called Papa’s SWEET heat. It has made a lot of other toppings irrelevant for me. It’s kind of like spicy ketchup, but there’s no real tomato taste 10 out of 10.

  8. vacuitee

Yellowbird is a must if you haven’t tried it, but since that already has gotten recs, I would say El Yucateco Caribbean or Xxxtra hot. It’s still not that hot. I haven’t had any of those habanero flavors but they are probably good.

  9. iahebert

I’m a big fan of Tia Lupitas, second from the top, far right. Not too spicy and great flavor.

  10. Bunbury42

The El Yucateco XXXtra Hot and, surprisingly for a cheap sauce, the Chipotle Cholula, are both in regular rotation for me.

  11. JibreelND

Yellowbird, and El Yucateco have some of my favorites.

  12. Boogaloo_Baloo

The El Yucateco Xxxtra hot and Caribbean are both absolute bangers.

  13. AmishHomage

Any of the el yucateco brand. I rotate through 5/6 of their flavors and buy them by the case. I literally have no need for any other brand that’s how good they are.

  14. pravragita

Melindas, the white label, is very good for habanero.

Crystal is an old fashioned favorite.

  15. bakerbarber_

Don’t leave without some Yucatan Sunshine!

  16. boulevardpaleale

Yellow Bird Blue Agave Sriracha. Not crazy spicy but, just damn good.

  17. vode123

El yucateco caribbean and xxxtra hot.

  18. Roid-a-holic_ReX

All the Yucatecos are worth trying and then you can choose one to daily drive. It’s the best hot sauce on the planet.

  19. oswaldcopperpot

You got different flavors of crystal?! Get those.

  20. Capsaicin-rush

I’d be focusing on the el Yucateco offerings.

  21. MagnusAlbusPater

El Yucateco Caribbean and XXX Hot

    Hank Sauce is always great.

    Tia Lupita is delicious.

  22. voyerruss

Get like the same pepper of different brands and try them out. I’ve been loving chipotle lately and have Cholula and Tabasco

  23. notanickisanick

On an unrelated note, I am jealous of those prices!

  24. Rammipallero

Second highest middle has some real good stuff. I can’t remember the brand, I just recognise the logo, has some spanish name.

Real tasty. I have a had the black colored habanero and garlic(?) and I ate it in a week. 😀 I have also tasted one of theirs that was their hottest branded and it was good and some that had mango or other fruit in it and I liked that too.

  25. catsandcoconuts

re: flavors, i really love the chilli garlic cholula and the chipotle cholula

  26. DangOlBdog

I thought this was an IT: Welcome to Derry post for a second iykyk

  27. Name-Initial

Yellowbird, yucateco, and my personal favorite melindas (habenero is excellent but their ghost pepper is also great if you really like spice)

  28. One_War_8513

The Hot One’s Classic sauce is my favorite all around hot sauce that goes on anything. I’ve gone through at least 4 bottles this year, and I always keep a couple extra new bottles in the pantry just in case.

It can be pricer than other options, but it really is great!!

Also the los calientes right next to it, is great if you want an extra hot green sauce

  29. CelticsGreg

    Green pepper cholula tastes awesome

  30. MoCorley

Crystal is VERY mild but super delicious if you like vinegar forward hot sauces (I prefer the extra hot version which is still pretty mild but its impossible to find where I live).

Agreeing with all the El Yucateco Xxxtra recommendations too, I always have a bottle in my fridge.

  31. Natural_Tangerine818

El Yucateo Green Habanero for flavor. XXX for heat. Also: Texas Pete extra hot

  32. Barjack521

From personal experience the scotch bonnet one towards the upper left is delicious. It only has a very modest kick but the flavor is top notch. I canny remember the last time I ate pizza without it.

  33. Cornball23

Chipotle Tabasco is basic but one of the best tasting hot sauces out there

  34. DoktorStrangelove

Melinda’s, El Yucateco, Dave’s, Yellow Bird all make great sauces…I like Crystal better than Tabasco as well if you’re looking for a basic sauce in that style to complement Cajun food like jambalaya and gumbo and shrimp & grits. It’s sorta the traditional sauce for that purpose.

  35. Unique_Muscle2173

    Yellow bird sauces are excellent.

  36. Background-Agent-854

why don’t stores carry tabasco habanero? it’s by far the best sauce in their line

my stores carry reg, green, chipotle and even scorpion now. never hab

  37. JJ12345678910

For cheap hot that’s good, Texas Pete’s xxxtra hot is my favorite.

    I’ll second yellow bird.

  38. BearDogBBQ

The el yucateco Caribbean and the yellow bird habanero are both really good

  39. the-coolest-bob

The Texas Pete Extra Hot surprised me. I’m not into the normal variety

  40. Particular_Path_370

    Sweet baby rays bbq sauce!

  41. spiderlandcapt

Woodstock!!! Green bottle is the best

  42. bjeffords74

Can’t go wrong with any Melinda’s!

  43. richempire

Solved! I got some great recommendations, Yellow bird agave Sriracha, el yucateco (xxxtra hot and Caribbean), Frank’s, different flavors of Crystal, Yucatan Sunchine, Melimda’s white label one, among other great ones.
I picked up yellow bird agave sriracha, yucateco xxxtra hot and woodstock scotch bonnet for now. I should be back to this area early next year and I’ll get some more of the list then.
    Thank you!

  44. RedShirtPete

The Hot Ones Classic is a nice mild-ish wing sauce. I’ve also had good experiences with Melinda’s Ghost Pepper sauce in the past for something on the warmer end of the spectrum… Not a super hot, but respectable.

  45. PsychoSizzle77

Get the big bottle of Crystal and add a bit off satans blood (can get on amazon) to make it as hot as you can handle but still taste like Crystal
